Alan grew up in Nelson and took up the game of golf in 2002 at the age of 14, playing representative golf for Nelson & Tasman from 2003-2006. Alan then began his Traineeship in 2007, graduating in 2009 & being crowned "Player of the Year". Coaching is a passion for Alan and as an accomplished player himself, he understands what it takes to play the game at a high level. Whatever your level & experience, Alan has the tools to improve your game.

Tim BerryAssistant Golf Professional
Tim began the game of golf in Reporoa at age 15. Sport has always been Tim’s passion, particularly cricket, squash & basketball. However, after completing his university degree, Tim chose to pursue a career in golf, starting his PGA traineeship in 2019. Tim graduated at the end of 2021, and was named as “Trainee of the Year” for all 3 years. Tim loves coaching players of all abilities and is passionate about helping you achieve your goals.

Mitchell ProctorTrainee Golf Professional
After reigniting his passion for golf in 2022, Mitchell represented Manawatu-Whanganui at the regional and national level, earning the honour to play #1 for his region at the 2024 Men’s Interprovincial. Mitchell began his PGA traineeship at the beginning of 2025 and is enthralled by the mechanics and nuances of the game of golf. He strives to provide a comfortable and uplifting coaching environment for players of all ages and levels, where education can flourish.
